Watchlist

The Watchlist component in TradeViewr allows users to monitor and manage symbols while setting up real-time alerts based on custom criteria. The alert system is deeply integrated with the watchlist symbols, offering a powerful way to stay updated on important price movements and other conditions.

Please note that the Watchlist alert system only functions when the TradeViewr app is actively running on your system.

Description​

Watchlist Panel​

  1. Symbol Link Feature
  2. Save / Load / Default Preset: Save your watchlist layout, load previous configurations, and manage the default preset.
  3. Symbol Add: Add a new symbol to the active watchlist tab.
  4. Watchlist Tabs: Switch between multiple watchlists using tabs. Double-click on a tab name to rename it.
  5. Column Selection: Customize which columns are visible in your watchlist
  6. Add Watchlist Alert: Set up alerts for the selected symbols. IMPORTANT: Alerts will only be triggered when the TradeViewr app is running on your system.
  7. Delete Selected Symbols: Remove one or more selected symbols from the active watchlist tab.
  8. Toggle Alerts Log / Alerts Panel: Switch between viewing the alert log and managing alerts in the panel.

Log Panel​

  1. Alerts Log: Displays a history of triggered alerts with information about each alert, including date, time, and alert details.
  2. Alerts Log Toolbar: Manage log settings, including clearing the log and adjusting the alert brightness.

Alerts Panel​

  1. Alerts Panel Window: View and manage all active alerts for your watchlist symbols.
  2. Alert Color: Displays the color associated with each alert.
  3. Toggle Alerts On/Off: Activate or deactivate specific alerts.
  4. Edit/Delete Alert: Edit the parameters of an existing alert or delete it entirely.

Usage​

The Watchlist component is a dynamic tool for keeping track of key symbols and setting up personalized alerts for real-time monitoring. Whether you're tracking price changes, volume, or other conditions, this component ensures you stay informed as long as the TradeViewr app is running.

Traders can create multiple watchlists, set individual alerts, and monitor them through an intuitive log and panel system. The ability to customize columns, rename tabs, and toggle alerts adds flexibility, making this an essential feature to follow a precise set of symbols.
